We've been raising bees for about ten years now and thought it would be a good idea to put it on the web site. It's a summer project that we have come to enjoy at the hobby level. We usually care for about 10  hives but have had as much as 15 and as little as 5 hives.  The whole family will get involved at times and except for the hottest days or the occasional aggressive hive, we've come to enjoy working with the bees.

Our customers have said that our honey is exceptional in flavor.  it would make sense because of an abundance of the top five honey sources in our area - White Clover, Basswood, Trefoil, Sumac, and Buckwheat. The honey we sell is raw (un-pasteurized) therefore it is considered to be in its natural state with the most nutrients intact. It can harden in time but warming it in hot water will bring it back to liquid state. All the processing is done with a hand extractor therefore we don't sell in large bulk containers.  The containers range from 5lbs. down to 12 oz.

We also make a salve with the wax.  It comes in stick form like lip gloss or in a purse sized flat or in 4 oz. family sized container.  It is great for any kind of skin condition, dryness, cuts, burns etc.
